Current Projects

CURRENT PROJECTS:  As of April, 2003, “Obadiah Ministries” is actively involved in the following projects:

·        Cuba :  We have been working closely with the church in Cuba and several of our members have been to Cuba numerous times.  We are currently working with a non-denominational church in the interior of Cuba .  In the past we have brought in much needed medical supplies, clothing, and finances to help bring about revival in Cuba .  Our past efforts have included the building of a home church, support for church staff, assistance in the construction and furnishing of various out-buildings on the church grounds, and assistance in procuring a church van.  We have also had intercessory prayer teams located throughout the area working to bring spiritual renewal to the nation.

·        Kenya : We have been working closely with a Kenyan pastor living in the Detroit area whose vision is to bring potable water to each village in Kenya .  The goal is to place that well on the property of a local pastor who not only will give the literal water to his village but also the ‘spiritual” water of the Word!  Recent visits to Kenya have also opened doors for ministry to the Maasai; a nomadic tribe that is hungry for the gospel.  We have been providing bibles in their own language and bible teaching through the partnering of a local Maasai pastor. We are also attempting to provide shelter for bible schools, and an on sight building to house those who must travel great distances for ministry.
